[S] Subversion

The Subversion Corporation

The Subversion Corporation is a non-profit stewardship organization formed to hold and defend the copyrights and trademarks of the open source version control software Subversion®. The corporation's membership is all the Subversion full committers.

The Membership of the Subversion Corporation voted on March 13, 2010 to dissolve the corporation. As the Subversion project is now part of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF), the aforementioned responsibilities of the Corporation are best handled at this point by the ASF. The Directors of the Subversion Corporation are working right now to wind up and dissolve the Corporation in the fashion prescribed by the Federal and California state governments.

As part of this process, it is expected that (among other things) the domain names subversion.com, subversion.org, and subversion.net will be transferred to the ASF for use by the Subversion project itself. Please update your bookmarks for this website, as we expect to maintain it for some period of time after the dissolution not at one of those domain names, but at http://svncorp.org/.
